Import trades from Webull

Webull's export is requested in the mobile app and emailed to you rather than downloaded, which is the step everyone gets stuck on.

Same on every platform Updated

What this does

Brings Webull trades into VEXA from an order export.

Before you start

  • Automatic sync shows a Coming soon banner. File import is the route today.
  • The export is requested in the Webull mobile app, not on their website.
  • Webull emails the file to the address on your Webull account. Nothing downloads in the app. This is the step that stops people, because the app gives no strong hint that it has happened.
  • Times are Eastern.

Steps

Same on every platform

  1. Open the Webull app and tap the account button at the bottom.
  2. Open the History tab in the upper panel.
  3. Tap Filter.
  4. Under the time selector, choose FILLED TIME and set a range, or pick a custom one.
  5. Set order status to All.
  6. Tap Done.
  7. Tap the download arrow at the top right and choose the export orders option.
  8. Tap Submit.
  9. Wait for the email from Webull and download the CSV from it.
  10. Upload that file to VEXA.

Filled time, not order time

The filter defaults to when the order was placed. Set it to FILLED TIME so the range covers when your trades actually executed. On a swing account those two are days apart, and the difference silently truncates your export.

Limits and gotchas

  • Set order status to All. Filtering to filled orders only sounds right and can exclude partially filled orders that VEXA needs to reconstruct the position.
  • The email can take a few minutes. Check the address on your Webull account if it does not arrive.
  • Nothing about the export needs configuring beyond the filter. The format is fixed.

What you should see

A result panel naming the Webull orders format, with counts that match the round trips in the range you chose.

If it doesn’t work

  • You cannot find the download. There is not one. Check your email.
  • The range came back short. The filter was on order time rather than filled time.
  • “No trades were found in this file.” The export covers a period with no fills in it, or the order status filter excluded them.
