Import trades from Kotak Neo

Upload Kotak Securities or Kotak Neo Transaction Statement and Tradebook Excel reports, including separate equity and derivatives files.

What this does

Brings Kotak Securities and Kotak Neo executions into VEXA from Transaction Statement or Tradebook Excel reports.

Before you start

  • Kotak is a file-import connection today; it does not sync automatically.
  • Keep the downloaded Excel report unchanged.
  • Kotak may export equity and derivatives separately. Upload both when you trade both.
  • Times are read as IST automatically.

Steps

Same on every platform

  1. Sign in to Kotak Securities or Kotak Neo and open Reports.
  2. Export Transaction Statement or Tradebook for your chosen period.
  3. Download the Excel report.
  4. Repeat for a separate equity or derivatives segment when Kotak offers one.
  5. In VEXA, choose Kotak Securities / Kotak Neo and upload each workbook.
  6. Compare the imported count and one completed trade with the Kotak report.

If it doesn’t work

  • Derivatives are missing. Export and upload the separate derivatives report.
  • No trades were found. Check that the period contains executions and that you exported a trade report rather than a cash or holdings statement.
  • You uploaded overlapping files. That is safe. VEXA discards duplicate executions rather than counting them twice.
  • The chart is blank. The broker import can be correct even when VEXA has no chart provider for that Indian symbol.
