Import trades from Rithmic
Export Completed Orders from R|Trader or R|Trader Pro and upload the CSV to bring Rithmic-routed futures fills into VEXA.
On this page
What this does
Imports completed futures orders routed through Rithmic into VEXA from an Order History CSV export.
Rithmic is the routing platform rather than one broker brand. The same import covers Rithmic-routed FCMs and prop firms, including Apex accounts that execute through Rithmic.
Before you start
- Use the Completed Orders view in Order History.
- Export the file as CSV from R|Trader or R|Trader Pro.
- Set the date range deliberately before exporting.
- Keep the CSV unchanged. Renaming the file is fine, but do not delete or rename its columns.
Steps
Same on every platform
- Open R|Trader or R|Trader Pro.
- Open Order History.
- Filter the view to Completed Orders and choose the date range you want to import.
- Export the results as CSV.
- In VEXA, open broker connections, choose Rithmic, and upload the CSV.
- Review the import result before uploading additional date ranges.
What VEXA imports
VEXA reads completed futures fills from the export and rebuilds them into journal trades. Open, cancelled, or rejected orders without completed fills are not trading executions and should not appear in the Completed Orders file.
The import follows the order-routing platform. If your FCM or prop firm uses Rithmic, use the Rithmic connection even when the account is branded by the firm rather than by Rithmic.
What you should see
The result panel should identify the file as Rithmic Order History and show the accepted and skipped row counts. Open one imported trade and compare its contract, side, quantity, execution price, and time with R|Trader before importing a large history.
If it doesn’t work
- The format is not recognized. Export Order History with the view filtered to Completed Orders, then upload the original CSV.
- No trades were imported. Check that the selected range contains completed fills rather than only working, cancelled, or rejected orders.
- Your firm is not named in VEXA. Choose Rithmic when that account routes through Rithmic. This includes supported prop-firm accounts such as Apex when they use the Rithmic route.
- A contract has the wrong P&L multiple. See How futures contracts are imported and report the unrecognized contract symbol rather than editing the trade by hand.
