VEXA Summary: your AI day recap

How the daily summary is generated, why only your most recent days get one automatically, and how to generate the rest.

What this does

VEXA Summary is a short written recap of one trading day, produced by VEXA’s AI from that day’s trades, scores, health numbers and your own notes. It sits on the Journal day card.

Before you start

The Journal needs Edge or Pro.

Summaries are not generated for every day in your history. On the web, VEXA generates them automatically for at most the seven most recent days that do not already have one. Every day older than that needs the button pressed.

Generating a summary does not spend voice minutes or chat messages. It runs on a separate background allowance of 50 calls per day per account, which resets at midnight UTC.

Steps

  1. Open Journal from the sidebar and find the day.
  2. Scroll to the VEXA Summary card, subtitled “AI-powered daily trading insights”.
  3. If the card already has text, you are done.
  4. If it shows Generate Summary, press it.
  5. Wait. The card reads “Analyzing your trading day…” while it works.

  2. Scroll to the VEXA Summary card.
  3. Press the generate control if the card is empty.
  4. Wait for the text to appear.

What goes into it

The summary reads that day’s closed trades, the P&L path through the session, your VEXA and CDI scores for the date, any health data VEXA holds, and whatever you wrote in the reflection editor. Writing your notes before generating gives a better recap, because the model can respond to your reasoning rather than guessing at it.

What you should see

A few paragraphs about that specific day, referring to your actual symbols and your actual numbers. Once generated, a summary is cached against the day, so reopening the Journal does not regenerate it and does not spend another call.

If it doesn’t work

  • An older day has no summary and no button response. You have used all 50 background AI calls for the day. It resets at midnight UTC.
  • The summary describes the wrong day. Check the date on the card. In the web Day view you are scrolling a stack of days, and it is easy to read the card above the one you meant.
  • The summary is thin. Days with one or two trades and no notes give the model very little to work with. Write a reflection first, then generate.
