Read the compliance calendar
What each cell means, the four bands and their thresholds, and why some days show a dash instead of a score.
What this does
The calendar is one month of graded days. Each cell carries the day number, that day’s compliance score, and that day’s P&L, so you can see discipline and money side by side.

The score in each cell
followed = 1, partial = 0.5, not followed = 0
compliance score = (Σ points / gradeable rules) × 100
Rules that graded N/A are excluded from both sides of that fraction. A day where every rule ended up N/A has no score at all and renders as a dash rather than as a zero.
The four bands
| Band | Score | Colour |
|---|---|---|
| Elite | 90 and above | green |
| Solid | 75 to 89 | blue |
| Needs Work | 50 to 74 | amber |
| Reset | below 50 | red |
These are the Rules Tracker’s own bands. They are not the VEXA Score bands, which are Excellent, Good and Needs Work at different thresholds. See Score history, streaks and bands.

What the rest of the page adds
The hero card shows the average compliance score across the graded days in your range, in its band colour, alongside a bar chart of your average P&L in each band. Where the sample is thin the label gains “(preliminary, sample too small for causal conclusions)”, because four Elite days do not prove anything.
Streaks counts consecutive days ending at your range end whose band is Solid or Elite. Both the current and the longest run are shown, and both read as a dash when there is no run.
Compliance by Day averages your score per weekday, Monday to Friday only. Weekend days are dropped rather than shown as empty.
What you should see
Coloured cells on days you traded and dashes on days you did not. The month navigation cannot take you outside the range you selected, so an empty month usually means the range needs widening.
Every cell has the same border footprint whether it is graded or not, so a graded day does not look physically larger than an ungraded one.
If it doesn’t work
- Every cell is a dash. No trades imported for that month, or every rule resolved to N/A. Open one day and read the evidence strings.
- The hero says there is not enough data. VEXA holds off on claiming a link between compliance and P&L until the sample supports it. The amber note says so directly.
- A day is graded but you disagree. Override it by hand. See Override a day’s grading.
- The calendar range does not match your other screens. It should not. The Rules Tracker keeps its own date range, defaulting to the current month.
