What this does

A recalculation throws away today’s cached score and asks VEXA’s AI for a fresh one, using whatever data is in your account at that moment.

Before you start

Scores are cached one per date. Once a day has a score, VEXA returns that score rather than recomputing it. This is why nothing moves after an import until you either sync or force a recalculation.

Only today can be forced. VEXA does not calculate scores for dates more than 30 days old, and forcing a recalculation is allowed for the current day only. Older days keep the score they were given.

There is a cap, not a cooldown. You get 50 score calculations per account per day, and the counter resets at midnight UTC. Nothing makes you wait between presses, but the fifty-first press in a day returns “Daily limit for calculateAIVexaScores reached. Try again after midnight UTC.”

Scoring needs Edge or Pro.

When it happens on its own

Syncing your brokers triggers a recalculation about ten seconds after the sync finishes. On phones that is the Sync Trades button, which does both jobs in one press. This is the normal path, and most people never need the recalculate button at all.

Steps

  1. Open Dashboard from the sidebar.
  2. Find the small circular-arrow button at the top right of the VEXA Score card. Its tooltip reads “Recalculate VEXA Score”.
  3. Press it.
  4. The gauge and the three rings show - - while it runs.
  1. Open the Home tab, the house icon at the far left of the bar at the bottom.
  2. Press the blue Recalculate Score pill near the top of the screen.
  3. Wait. The gauge shows - - with a progress line.
  4. An alert confirms “VEXA Score recalculated successfully”.
  1. Open Dashboard from the sidebar.
  2. Press Recalculate Score. The button reads “Recalculating…” while it works.
  3. Wait for the gauge to fill in.
  1. Open the Home tab, the house icon at the far left of the bar at the bottom.
  2. Press the blue Recalculate Score button near the top of the screen.
  3. Wait. The gauge shows - - with a progress line.
  1. Open Dashboard from the sidebar.
  2. Press Recalculate in the button row under the gauge.
  3. Wait for the gauge to fill in.

What you should see

The gauge holds - - for around 90 seconds, then shows a number. The three rings fill in with it, and the insight card underneath regenerates because it is invalidated whenever the score changes.

If the new score is identical to the old one, that is a real result. The model can look at the same days again and reach the same conclusion.

If it doesn’t work

  • Nothing changes after a recalculation. Check that the trades you expected actually imported. A recalculation only re-reads what is already in your account.
  • You hit the daily limit. Wait for midnight UTC. Fifty forced recalculations in one day is far beyond normal use, and usually means something is pressing the button in a loop.
  • The gauge stays on dashes for many minutes. See Why my score shows ”- -”.
  • An old day still has a score you disagree with. Days beyond the 30-day window cannot be recalculated.
