From signup to your first charge: the timeline

What this does

There is one free period in VEXA now, plus a reward for referring people. Here they are, in the order they happen.

The Welcome Package replaced the old seven-day welcome week and the card-attached free trial that used to sit behind it. There is no longer a second free period waiting after you enter a card.

The timeline

Subscribing charges you the same day

This is the part that changed, and the part most worth reading twice.

When you subscribe, the payment is taken immediately. There is no free trial attached to the card, on the web or in either app store. Your Welcome Package was the free window, and it runs whether or not you ever open the plan picker.

So subscribing on day 3 does not buy you your remaining 11 free days plus a trial. It starts a paid plan on day 3. If you want the whole free window, wait until it ends and subscribe then. There is no penalty either way, and nothing is locked to you while the package runs.

What the Welcome Package gives you, and what it does not

The Welcome Package unlocks every Pro feature for 14 days, or 30 if you were referred: Sentinel, Pattern Recognition, Weekly Overview, the full journal and all your metrics.

Voice and chat run at a lower ceiling than a paid Pro plan: 100 voice minutes and 300 chat messages for the whole package rather than per day. See AI usage limits by plan.

Three other things it does not do:

1. It does not give you the VEXA Pro role in Discord. Discord roles follow a paid plan, so during your Welcome Package you get the Trader role only.
2. It does not let you create a referral code. Refer & Earn opens once your paid plan is active.
3. It does not take up a place in the subscriber cap. While signups are capped, a Welcome Package account is not holding a paid slot.

One Welcome Package per email address, ever

It is granted once per email address, permanently. Deleting your account and signing up again on the same address does not mint a fresh one.

What happens at the end

Nothing is deleted, and you land on the free Edge plan rather than on a wall. Your brokers, trades, metrics and journal stay open. Only the Pro features lock behind the plan picker, and your data sits exactly where you left it. Start Pro and everything is back.

Access relocks at the exact moment your package expires, without needing to restart the app. If a screen locks while you are looking at it, that is why.

What changes the length

A referral link gives you 30 days instead of the usual 14. The referral has to be attached at signup; it cannot be added afterwards. See Refer & Earn: how it works and Apply a referral code.

Nothing else changes it. Having subscribed to VEXA before does not shorten it, because the package is granted on the account rather than on the payment method.

What you should see

During your Welcome Package, Home carries a countdown reading “Full Access · N days left · everything unlocked”. With two days or fewer left it turns solid orange and offers Get VEXA Pro.

Once you subscribe, Profile > Subscription shows your plan and the date of your next renewal.

If it doesn’t work

• No countdown appeared after signup. It lands a few seconds after your account is created, so a very fast first screen can beat it. Pull to refresh. If you have signed up on this email before, the package was already used.
• The countdown vanished after you subscribed. Expected. Once you are Pro, the countdown has nothing left to raise and stops showing.
• You were charged straight away and expected a trial. Expected under the current model. See Pricing and billing cycles.
• Your AI allowance is smaller than Pro’s during the package. Expected. It opens every Pro feature at 100 voice minutes and 300 chat messages for the package rather than Pro’s monthly figures. See AI usage limits by plan.
