Full Access, free trials and your first charge
The complete timeline from signup to your first payment, including why starting a plan early does not add your free week to your free trial.
What this does
There are four separate free periods in VEXA and they are easy to confuse with each other. Here they are, in the order they happen.
| Name | How long | Who gets it |
|---|---|---|
| Full Access | 7 days | Every new account, once per email address |
| Free trial | 14 days | Monthly plans only |
| Referred free trial | 30 days | Monthly plans, started on the web from a referral link |
| Referral reward | 1 month | The person who referred a paying friend |
When the app or a support reply says “your trial”, it means one of these four. They behave differently, and they do not add up the way most people expect.
The timeline
DAY 0 You sign up
│
├─ Full Access starts. 7 days of everything in VEXA Pro.
│ No card. No store purchase. Nothing to cancel.
│
DAY 0 to 7 You pick a plan whenever you like
│
├─ MONTHLY Your 14-day free trial starts that same day.
│ Any Full Access days left over are absorbed into it.
│
└─ ANNUAL You are charged the full year on the spot.
Annual has no trial, on any platform.
DAY 7 If you never picked a plan, Full Access ends.
Paid features lock. Nothing you created is deleted.
TRIAL DAY 14 First charge, unless you cancelled before then.
Full Access and the free trial overlap
They do not run one after the other, which is the part almost everyone gets wrong.
Starting a plan during your free week begins your 14-day trial immediately. Any Full Access days you had left are absorbed into the trial rather than added to it.
The app says this on the paywall while your week is running:
You’re on Full Access until {date}. Starting a plan begins your 14-day trial right away.
Worked through, for a monthly plan:
| You start a monthly plan | Free days you end up with |
|---|---|
| The day you sign up | 14 |
| Day 3 of Full Access | 17 |
| Day 7, when Full Access ends | 21 |
So waiting until the end of your free week is the only way to get the full 7 plus 14. Starting on day 3 gives you 17 free days, not 21.
What Full Access gives you, and what it does not
Full Access unlocks every Pro feature for 7 days: Sentinel, Pattern Recognition, Weekly Overview, the full journal, all your metrics, and Pro-level voice and chat allowances.
Three things it does not do:
- It does not give you the VEXA Pro role in Discord. Discord roles follow a paid plan, so during your free week you get the Trader role only.
- It does not let you create a referral code. Refer & Earn opens once your paid plan is active.
- It does not take up a place in the subscriber cap. While signups are capped, a Full Access account is not holding a paid slot.
One free week per email address, ever
Full Access is granted once per email address, permanently. Deleting your account and signing up again on the same address does not mint a fresh week.
What happens at the end of your free week
Nothing is deleted. Paid features lock behind the plan picker and your data sits exactly where you left it. Start a plan and everything is back.
Access relocks at the exact moment your week expires, without needing to restart the app. If a screen locks while you are looking at it, that is why.
Trial lengths, per platform
Verified in Stripe, App Store Connect and Google Play Console on 26 July 2026. All three agree.
| Plan | Web | iPhone and iPad | Android |
|---|---|---|---|
| Edge Monthly | 14 days | 14 days | 14 days |
| Edge Annual | No trial | No trial | No trial |
| Pro Monthly | 14 days | 14 days | 14 days |
| Pro Annual | No trial | No trial | No trial |
Annual plans carry no trial. You are charged in full when the plan starts.
Two things that change your trial length
- A referral link gives you 30 days instead of 14. Monthly plans, web only. See Refer & Earn: how it works.
- A previous subscription removes the trial entirely. If you have subscribed to VEXA before on the web, checking out again charges you straight away. See Why was I charged immediately instead of getting a trial?.
What you should see
During your free week, Home carries a countdown reading “Full Access · N days left · everything unlocked”. With two days or fewer left it turns solid orange and offers to start your trial.
Once you start a plan, Profile > Subscription shows a Trial badge and “Trial ends {date}”.
If it doesn’t work
- No countdown appeared after signup. It lands a few seconds after your account is created, so a very fast first screen can beat it. Pull to refresh. If you have signed up on this email before, the week was already used.
- The countdown vanished after you subscribed. Expected. Once your trial makes you Pro, the free-week countdown has nothing left to raise and stops showing.
- You bought Edge during Full Access and still have Pro features. Also expected. Pro outranks Edge, so your free week keeps running until day 7 and you drop to Edge after that.
