Delete your VEXA account
How to permanently delete your account, what goes with it, and why a subscription bought in an app store keeps charging you unless you cancel it separately.
What this does
Permanently erases your VEXA account and everything attached to it. There is no undo and nothing we can restore from afterwards.
Before you start
Where you bought your subscription is where you cancel it. This is where account deletion goes wrong most often, so read it before anything else.
| Bought on | Does deleting cancel it? |
|---|---|
| Web | Yes. Deleting the account cancels the Stripe subscription. |
| App Store | No. Cancel it in Settings, then your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. |
| Google Play | No. Cancel it in the Play Store, under Payments and subscriptions. |
A store subscription is a contract between you and the store. VEXA cannot cancel it on your behalf, so an App Store or Play subscription keeps billing after your account is gone. Cancel it first, then delete. See Cancel your subscription.
Take a copy first if you want one. Once the account is gone, so is the export. See Export all your data.
Signing up again does not restore anything, and does not reset your free week. Full Access is once per email address, ever. A new account on the same address starts with nothing and no free week.
What is deleted: your profile, every trade and open position, journal entries, chat history, Sentinel sessions and health data, broker connections, uploaded files, profile pictures, community memberships and bug reports you filed. Your sign-in itself is removed last.

What you should see
A warning listing what goes: trades, journal entries, AI chat history, Sentinel sessions and health data, ending with “This action cannot be undone.”
On iPhone and iPad the same dialog adds the subscription line: if you have an active subscription, deleting your account does not cancel it, and you cancel it in Settings, then your Apple ID, then Subscriptions. On Android the equivalent line names the Play Store.
The confirm button stays disabled until the field reads exactly DELETE in capitals. It is
deliberately awkward, because a stray tap should not be able to finish this.
After confirming, a blocking overlay appears while the deletion runs, then you are returned to the sign-in screen. Signing in with that account no longer works.
If it doesn’t work
The confirm button will not enable. The field must read DELETE, in capitals, with no spaces.
The deletion stopped partway. If VEXA cannot cancel a web subscription cleanly, it stops before
erasing anything, rather than leaving you with a deleted account and a live charge. A failure later
in the run behaves differently: whatever had already been erased stays erased, and the rest is still
there. The message you get is the same either way, so it will not tell you which one you hit. Retry
in both cases. Deletion is safe to run again, because a retry re-runs the whole erasure and skips
whatever is already gone. If it keeps failing, write to privacy@vexatrade.ai.
You deleted your account and are still being charged. The subscription was bought in an app store. Cancel it there. See Manage an App Store subscription or Manage a Google Play subscription.
You changed your mind after deleting. There is no recovery. Create a new account and import your trades again. Your free week does not return, because it is granted once per email address.
