Set your Broker Server Timezone
Five brokers write their exports on their own server clock, and telling VEXA which clock that is stops every trade landing on the wrong day.
What this does
Some brokers stamp their exported statements with the time on their own server, and the file does not say which zone that is. Broker Server Timezone tells VEXA which clock those timestamps were written on, so it can convert them correctly when it reads the file.
Before you start
It applies to five brokers: MT4, MT5, Moomoo, Tiger and NinjaTrader. If you do not upload files from any of those, this setting does not affect you.
Getting it wrong shifts every trade in the file. A statement written on a server three hours ahead of you, read as though it were local, moves every timestamp by three hours. Trades near the open and close of a session cross into the wrong day, and your daily P&L then splits across two dates that never traded that way. Nothing is missing and nothing is duplicated, but every day boundary sits in the wrong place, so your figures stop matching your broker’s.
It is not the same as Trade Display Timezone. That is the clock trades are shown on. This one is the clock they were recorded on. Setting one does not set the other, and they are frequently different. See Set your Trade Display Timezone.
If you have never set it, you will be asked. The first time you upload from one of the five brokers, VEXA prompts for it rather than guessing.
On Android tablet it has no row of its own. Open Display Timezone in the Settings section instead: Broker Server Timezone is the first section of the pane that opens.
Finding the right value. The file does not carry it, so it has to come from your broker. Ask which timezone their server runs on, or compare one trade’s time in the broker’s own platform against the same trade’s time in the statement. Match what you find here.

What you should see
On the web, the card under Display Preferences explains itself: “Used when uploading reports from brokers that run on their own server time (MT4, MT5, Moomoo, Tiger, NinjaTrader).” Before you set anything it reads “Not set. You’ll be prompted to choose a timezone on your first MT4/MT5/Moomoo/ Tiger/NinjaTrader upload.”
After setting it, upload a statement you can check by hand. Open one trade you remember and compare its time against your broker’s platform. If the two agree, the setting is right. If they are out by a whole number of hours, the setting is out by that many hours.
If it doesn’t work
Times are out by a consistent number of hours. That number is the gap between the zone you chose and the one your broker actually uses. Adjust and re-upload.
Only some trades moved days. That is what a partial shift looks like: only the trades close to midnight cross a boundary. It still means the setting is wrong, not that some trades are fine.
You changed the setting but the trades already imported did not move. The setting is applied when a file is read. Trades already in VEXA keep the times they were imported with. Re-upload the statement after correcting the setting.
You are on Android tablet and cannot find the row. There is no row of its own. Open Display Timezone in the Settings section, and Broker Server Timezone is the first section of the pane that opens.
