The Profile screen, section by section

Profile is where every setting in VEXA lives. Here is how to open it on each surface and what every card on it does.

Same on every platform Updated

What this does

Profile is VEXA’s settings screen. There is no separate Settings destination on any surface. Every preference, every account control and the broker list all sit on Profile, and a card headed Settings sits inside it near the bottom.

If an article, an email or an error message ever tells you to open Settings and then something, this is the screen it means.

Before you start

Profile is reached differently on every surface, which is the most common reason a navigation instruction sends someone to the wrong place:

  • Web: the card at the bottom of the sidebar showing your name, with View Profile under it.
  • iPhone and Android phone: the circular avatar at the top right of Home.
  • iPad and Android tablet: the profile chip at the bottom of the sidebar.

Some cards are conditional. Backup Login only appears when Apple is your only sign-in method and there is no password on the account. The Subscription card changes what it offers depending on whether you are on a plan and which store sold it.

Android tablet opens Settings as two panes. Its Settings section shows ten rows. Four act where you tap them: Terms of Use, App Walkthrough, Rate VEXA and Help & Support. The other six open in a right-hand pane rather than a new screen: Display Timezone, Risk Management, Health Connect, Notifications, Leaderboard and Privacy.

Steps

  1. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, where it reads View Profile.
  2. Read down the page. The cards are, in order:
  • The profile header, with your avatar and Change Photo.
  • Profile Information, with an Edit button. Rows: Full Name, Trading Experience, Trading Style, Trading Goals, Current Struggles, Max Daily Loss, Member Since.
  • Connected Brokers, subtitled “Manage your broker integrations and accounts”. Every broker account you have connected lives here.
  • The VEXA AI Import / Manual CSV Template card, for uploading files without going through a broker page.
  • Display Preferences, holding Trade Display Timezone and Broker Server Timezone.
  • Subscription, subtitled “Your VEXA plan, billing cadence, and payment details.”
  • Refer & Earn.
  • Connected Accounts, where sign-in methods are linked and unlinked.
  • Discord Community.
  • Backup Login, when Apple is your only way in.
  • AI Usage, your voice minutes and chat messages for the current period.
  • Settings, with rows: Privacy, AI Services, Help & Support, Export My Data, Delete My Account.
  • Sign Out.
  1. Tap the circular avatar at the top right of Home.
  2. Read down the screen. The sections are, in order:
  • The photo, with Change Photo.
  • Profile Information, with Edit.
  • Cloud Sync, with a sync button and the time of the last one.
  • Connected Services. This is the broker list on iPhone, and it also holds the HealthKit row.
  • Discord Community.
  • Subscription, offering Upgrade to Edge / Pro or Manage subscription depending on your plan, then Restore Purchases, then Refer & Earn.
  • Settings, with rows: Display Timezone, Broker Server Timezone, Notifications, Privacy, Terms of Use, AI Services, App Walkthrough, Rate VEXA, Help & Support.
  • Connected Accounts.
  • Backup Login, when Apple is your only way in.
  • AI Usage, collapsed until you tap its header.
  • Sign Out, then Delete My Account.

Report Bug sits in the toolbar at the top of the screen.

  1. Tap the profile chip at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Read down the screen. The sections are, in order:
  • Edit Profile.
  • Subscription, offering Upgrade to Edge / Pro or Manage subscription, then Restore Purchases, then Refer & Earn.
  • Settings, with rows: Display Timezone, Broker Server Timezone, Notifications, Privacy, Terms of Use, AI Services, App Walkthrough, Rate VEXA, Help & Support.
  • Connected Accounts.
  • Connected Services, which is the broker list on iPad.
  • Sign Out, then Delete My Account.

Report Bug sits in the toolbar at the top of the screen. Pressing Cmd and comma also lands here, because iPad has no separate settings screen to open.

  1. Tap the circular avatar at the top right of Home.
  2. Read down the screen. The sections are, in order:
  • The photo, with Change Photo.
  • Profile Information, with Edit. Same rows as the web, plus Age.
  • Cloud Sync, with a sync button, a progress card and the time of the last sync.
  • Connected Brokers, grouped by broker, with a delete button on each account row.
  • Other Services, holding Health Connect.
  • Subscription, offering Upgrade to Edge / Pro or Current plan, then Manage in Google Play, then Restore purchases.
  • Settings, with rows: Display Timezone, Broker Server Timezone, Leaderboard Settings, Notifications, Privacy, Terms of Use, AI Services, App Walkthrough, Rate VEXA, Help & Support.
  • Connected Accounts.
  • Discord Community.
  • Backup Login, when Apple is your only way in.
  • Refer & Earn.
  • AI Usage.
  • Delete My Account, then Sign Out.

Report a Bug is the bug icon in the top bar. Pull down on the screen to force a fresh read from the server.

  1. Tap the profile chip at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Read the two columns. The sections are:
  • Personal Info.
  • Connected Brokers.
  • Cloud Sync.
  • Health & Services.
  • Settings, with ten rows. Terms of Use, App Walkthrough, Rate VEXA and Help & Support act where you tap them. Display Timezone, Risk Management, Health Connect, Notifications, Leaderboard and Privacy open in a right-hand pane.
  • Subscription.
  • Refer & Earn, shown inline rather than as its own screen.
  • Connected Accounts.
  • Discord Community.
  • Report a Bug.

What you should see

The broker list is called Connected Brokers on web, Android phone and Android tablet, and Connected Services on iPhone and iPad. It is the same list under two names.

Four rows differ enough between surfaces to be worth knowing before you go looking:

  • Broker Server Timezone has a row of its own on web, iPhone, iPad and Android phone. On Android tablet it is the first section of the pane the Display Timezone row opens.
  • Notification settings are on iPhone, iPad and Android phone. The web has none at all, and Android tablet has a shorter set of three toggles held on the tablet itself.
  • Restore purchases is on the four app surfaces and not on the web, where entitlements are held on our servers and there is nothing to restore.
  • Report a bug is on the four app surfaces and not on the web.

The version number at the bottom of the Android tablet profile reads the build you are actually running, which is the fastest way to confirm an update landed.

If it doesn’t work

You are looking for a Settings screen and cannot find one. There is not one. Settings is a section inside Profile on every surface.

A row on Android tablet opened something you cannot change. Risk Management and Health Connect are display only there. Risk Management shows example figures rather than your own limits, so set those from your phone or the web app.

Backup Login is not on your profile. It only appears when Apple is your only sign-in method and you have no password. If you already have a second method, you already have what it provides.

The greeting on Home shows an old name. On Android that greeting reads a cached copy. Sign out and back in.
