Edit your trading profile
Change your name, experience, styles, goals, struggles and daily loss limit, and see what each field is actually used for.
What this does
Your trading profile is the set of answers you gave during setup. VEXA reads them when it writes insights, so vague answers produce vague coaching. They are all editable except the two facts that are matters of record.
Before you start
What each field does:
- Full Name is what VEXA calls you in greetings, emails and the community.
- Trading Experience is one of six bands, from under three months to more than five years. It sets the level the AI pitches its explanations at.
- Trading Style is a multi-select: Scalper, Intraday Trader, Swing Trader, Positional Trader. Pick every one that is true. It shapes what counts as a normal holding time for you.
- Trading Goals is free text and it is the field that changes the coaching most. Write what you are actually trying to fix.
- Current Struggles is free text and feeds the same place.
- Max Daily Loss is a number, and it is not decoration. Your Discipline score is affected by how well you stay inside it. See Set your currency and max daily loss.
Member Since is not editable. It is the date the account was created.
Date of birth is set once, during setup. On iPhone and iPad it appears in the editor, and the
Android profile shows your age. On the web it is collected in onboarding and not offered again. If
it is wrong, write to support@vexatrade.ai.

What you should see
The rows update in place. On web and Android phone the section is called Profile Information, on iPad it is Edit Profile, and on Android tablet it is Personal Info. The fields behind them are the same.
Read-only rows stay read-only: Member Since everywhere, and Age on the mobile surfaces.
New coaching picks up the new answers from its next run rather than rewriting what it already said. Insights already on your dashboard were written against the old answers and do not change retroactively.
If it doesn’t work
You changed your name and the greeting on Home still shows the old one. On Android the greeting reads a cached copy of your name. Sign out and back in to refresh it. The stored name is already correct.
Max Daily Loss shows a dollar sign but you trade in another currency. The amount is the one you set. The symbol on that one row is fixed to a dollar sign regardless of your chosen currency, and it is cosmetic.
Max Daily Loss shows a number you never entered. The row falls back to a placeholder when the value has never been set. Open the editor, type the figure you want, and save it.
The save failed with a connection message. Nothing was written. Check your connection and save again. Half a form is never stored.
