Sign in to VEXA
The three ways to sign in, why signing in with the same method every time matters, and what to do when the sign-in screen refuses you.
What this does
You have one VEXA account and one subscription, shared by the web app, iPhone, iPad, Android phone and Android tablet. Signing in puts that account on the device in front of you. Nothing is device-specific, so signing in on a second device brings your trades, scores and plan with it.
Before you start
There are three ways to sign in: Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, and an email address with a password.
Use the same method you used the first time. The sign-in screen says so in one line above the buttons, and the reason is worth knowing. Each sign-in method resolves to an account. If you sign up with Google in March and then sign up with Apple in July on the same email address, you can end up with two separate accounts, each able to hold its own subscription. If you want a second method, add it deliberately rather than by accident. See Add or remove a sign-in method.
If you signed up with Apple and the web sign-in page does not offer an Apple button, sign in on your iPhone or iPad instead, then set a backup password so the web stays open to you. See Sign in with Apple: set a backup password.

What you should see
On the web, a branded screen reading Signing you in… while the sign-in resolves. In Safari this can sit there for a second or two, which is normal. It exists because the login form used to reappear for a moment after a successful sign-in and people thought it had failed.
Where you land depends on your account:
- Account complete: the Dashboard on web and tablets, Home on the phones.
- Account created but the questions never finished: the onboarding steps, picking up where you stopped.
- No account on that address: the sign-up screen.
In the apps, the sign-in screen is the first step of setup rather than a separate page, so the first thing after signing in is the rest of the setup flow.
If it doesn’t work
“That email or password didn’t match our records.” Either the password is wrong, or the account was created with Google or Apple and has no password on it. Try the button you used originally first, then Reset a forgotten password.
“We’ve paused sign-in for a few minutes for your security.” Too many attempts in a row. Wait a few minutes and try once, carefully, rather than repeating.
You are sent to the sign-up screen instead of an error. There is no VEXA account on that email address. Check for a typo, or check whether you signed up with a different address.
“This email is linked to Google. Please sign in with Google instead.” Your account exists but this method is not attached to it yet. See You already signed up with a different method.
Nothing happens after the Google or Apple window closes. Old sign-in records left in the browser are the usual cause. Close the tab, open a fresh one, and try again.
