Widget reference: analysis and tags
Top and bottom symbols, trading days, and the four breakdowns that split your P&L by setup, mistake, emotion and playbook.
What this does
These widgets slice your P&L by something other than time: by ticker, by the tags you put on trades, and by the playbook you traded.
Before you start
The tag breakdowns are only as good as your tagging. A trade with no setup tag does not appear in the P&L by Setups chart at all. If those charts look thin, the answer is usually that most trades are untagged rather than that the chart is broken.
The widgets
Top 10 Performing Symbols and Bottom 10 Performing Symbols rank your tickers by total P&L, with the trade count and win rate for each.
Option contracts roll up into their underlying, so every strike and expiry of a TSLA option is counted under TSLA. Without that, a busy options trader would see a list of one-trade contracts instead of a list of symbols.
Trading days splits your active days into green and red.
a day is green when its net P&L is zero or aboveA flat day counts as green. Days with no trades are not counted at all, so the two halves add up to your active days, not to the length of the range.
P&L by Setups, P&L by Mistakes and P&L by Emotions are one bar per tag, showing the total P&L of the trades carrying it. A trade with three tags contributes to three bars, so the bars do not sum to your Total P&L and are not supposed to.
The three categories come with ten built-in tags each, and your own custom tags appear in whichever category you filed them under.

- You can add your own tags alongside these.
P&L by Playbook is the same idea per playbook rather than per tag. A trade assigned to two playbooks contributes to both.
Steps
- Open Metrics in the sidebar.
- Scroll to the widget you want.
- Click a symbol row, or a tag or playbook bar, to open those trades.
- Tap the bar chart icon, fourth along the row at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll to the widget you want.
- Use the menu on the symbols card to switch between the top 10 and the bottom 10.
- Tap a bar to open those trades.
- Open Metrics in the sidebar.
- Scroll to the widget you want.
- Tap a bar to open those trades.
- Tap the bar chart icon, fourth along the row at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll to the widget you want.
- Tap a bar to open a filtered list of those trades, then close it to return to the board.

What you should see
Symbol lists that name tickers you recognise, and tag charts with a bar for each tag you actually use. A tag you have never applied has no bar, because there is nothing to plot.
An empty tag chart on the apps says so directly and tells you to add tags to your trades.
If it doesn’t work
- The tag charts are empty. Your trades are untagged. Tag a few from the trade screen or in bulk, then come back.
- A symbol you traded is missing from the top 10. The list is capped at ten each way. A symbol between the best ten and the worst ten appears in neither.
- The bars do not add up to Total P&L. They are not meant to. A trade with several tags is counted once per tag.
