Weekly Overview
Last week's measured recap and next week's market preview, why they are kept apart, the event types on the calendar and how to filter them by priority.
What this does
Weekly Overview is two things on one screen: a measured account of the week that finished, and a forward-looking brief for the week ahead.
Before you start
- Weekly Overview needs Pro.
- The recap is computed from your trades. The preview is generated by VEXA’s AI from the market calendar and your recent trading.
- Refreshing is rate limited on the server. The screen shows how long until the next refresh is available.
Why the two halves are separated
The recap is measured. It happened, and the numbers are your own.
The preview is forecast: scheduled events and coaching for a week that has not been traded yet. VEXA keeps the two visually apart on purpose, so a prediction never gets read as a result.

What is in the recap
Closed trades, net P&L and win rate for last week, then two symbol lists: what worked and what needs attention, each with the P&L, win rate and trade count per symbol.
Where the data exists, it adds a rules discipline line from your Rules Tracker and a biometric line from your health data, then a set of coaching takeaways.
What is in the preview
A seven-day calendar of scheduled events, colour-coded by importance and badged high, medium or low. The types are earnings, economic data, central bank speakers, company events and news. Symbols you actually trade are highlighted, so your own names stand out from the rest of the calendar.
The priority filter is three checkboxes with a live count of how many events are showing out of the total. On the web your choice is remembered between visits.
Alongside the calendar sit the AI key takeaways, a sector outlook and a summary for the week.
What you should see
Two clearly separated halves with a timestamp at the bottom telling you when the overview was generated and when the economic data was last refreshed.
If an overview has never been generated for your account, the screen offers to generate one rather than showing an empty week.
A day with nothing scheduled says so instead of rendering an empty list.
If it doesn’t work
- The screen is locked. Weekly Overview needs Pro. See Edge and Pro compared.
- Refresh will not run. There is a server-side cooldown. The countdown tells you when it lifts.
- The calendar is empty for your market. See Non-US markets in Weekly Overview.
- The whole screen fails on your phone but works on the web. Update the app. Older builds can fail on newer event types.
- Your symbols are not highlighted. Add them to your watchlist. See Set your weekly watchlist and alerts.
