Wellness vs trading correlation
Plot sleep, heart rate or your VEXA score against your P&L, and understand the deliberate one-day offset that makes the scores line up correctly.
What this does
This chart puts a wellness measure on one axis and a trading measure on the other, over the same days, so you can see whether your body and your results move together.
Before you start
Health data is captured by the phone apps only. Sleep, heart rate variability, resting heart rate and recovery come from Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android. The web can display what your phone collected but can never collect it, so a web-only user sees a prompt instead of a line.
Score measures need Edge or Pro. Scores are only calculated on those plans, so a free account never gets a current score and the chart has nothing recent to read. On Edge or Pro, it takes a few days of scoring history before there is anything to correlate.
The two axes
Left axis, wellness: VEXA Score, Confidence, Discipline, Intuition, Sleep Hours, HRV or Resting HR.
Right axis, trading: Daily P&L, Win Rate or Trade Count.
Duration controls switch between daily points, weekly averages and monthly averages. On the web there is also a control to leave weekends out, which is worth using when your wellness data runs seven days a week and your trading does not.
The one-day offset
When you pick a score measure, the chart pairs each trading day with the following day’s score. This is deliberate.
Your VEXA, Confidence, Discipline and Intuition scores are computed after a trading day has finished, using that day’s behaviour. The score that describes Tuesday is written on Wednesday. Plotting Tuesday’s trading against Tuesday’s stored score would compare Tuesday’s results against Monday’s verdict.
Health measures are not offset. Sleep is read for the same day it is plotted against.

What you should see
Two series over the same dates, on their own axes. Where a day has a trading value but no wellness value, the tooltip says there is no data for that side rather than plotting a zero, because a zero would read as “you slept no hours” instead of “we do not know”.
Picking a health measure with no health data on the account shows a banner telling you to connect health data from the VEXA app on your phone. That banner is the answer, not a fault.
If it doesn’t work
- The wellness line is missing. No health data reached the account. Connect health on your phone: Profile > Connected Services > Connect HealthKit on iPhone and iPad, or Profile > Other Services > Health Connect on Android.
- The scores look shifted by a day. They are, on purpose. Read the offset section above.
- The chart is empty in both directions. There are no trades in the range either. Widen the range.
- You are on an Android tablet with no health rows. Health capture is a phone feature. Use your Android phone.
