Where to find Metrics on each device, what the header counts mean, and what the default board shows you before you change anything.

What this does

Metrics is the screen that adds your trades up. It takes every closed trade inside your date range and account filter and puts the totals and the charts on one board you can rearrange.

Before you start

Metrics needs Edge or Pro on all five surfaces: the web, iPhone, iPad, Android and Android tablet. See Why a feature is locked.
The board only counts closed trades. Open positions are excluded unless you add them deliberately with the Status filter.

Steps

Open Metrics in the sidebar.
Read the header. It says “Trading Metrics” with the trade count for the current filters underneath.
Set your range with the date picker at the top of the filters row.

Tap the bar chart icon, fourth along the row at the bottom of the screen. The screen is titled Trading Metrics.
Set your range with the preset row, or tap the two date fields to pick your own.

Open Metrics in the sidebar. The page header reads Trading Metrics.
Set your range with Quick Filters, or use the Date Range fields above them.

What the board is made of

The screen has three layers, top to bottom.

Filters. Date range, account selector and a refresh control. The web adds a collapsible Advanced Filters panel.
Performance metrics. A row of single-number tiles: Total P&L, Win Rate, Profit Factor, Commissions, averages and best and worst day.
Charts. Everything with a shape: the equity curve, daily P&L, the calendar, time of day, symbol rankings and the tag breakdowns.

Each tile and chart is a widget. You can reorder them, resize them on the web, remove ones you do not use and add ones that are not on the board yet. See Add, remove and rearrange widgets.

What the header count means

The number beside the title is how many trades passed all your current filters, not how many trades you have. Narrow the range or pick a single account and it drops. That count is the denominator behind every figure on the screen, so it is the first thing to check when a total looks wrong.

What you should see

A populated board with numbers in the tiles and shapes in the charts. Widgets with nothing to show say “No data available” rather than rendering an empty frame, so a board with several of those means the filters are too narrow, not that the screen is broken.

A brand-new account with no imported trades shows zeroes and empty states throughout. That is the correct display, not a failure.

If it doesn’t work

The screen is locked. Metrics needs Edge or Pro. See Edge and Pro compared.
Numbers look stale after an import. See Refresh, caching and stale numbers.
Trades you expected are missing. The date range and account filter carry over from whatever page you were on last. See Date range, account and advanced filters.
