Non-US markets in Weekly Overview

VEXA covers the US market calendar. Here is what the amber banner means, what is suppressed, and what still works if you trade elsewhere.

What this does

The Weekly Overview event calendar covers the US market. If you trade another market, an amber card appears telling you the calendar is unavailable for it.

What the banner means

VEXA suppresses events it cannot cover completely rather than showing a partial list. A calendar with three of the week’s twenty relevant events on it is worse than no calendar, because it reads as complete and you plan around it.

So the banner is a statement of coverage, not a fault on your account and not something a refresh will fix.

What still works

The recap half of Weekly Overview is computed from your own trades and does not depend on any market calendar. It works normally whatever you trade: closed trades, net P&L, win rate, the symbol lists, the rules discipline line and the biometric line.

What is affected is the forward-looking half, where the seven-day event calendar comes from.

Two other coverage facts often turn up in the same conversation.

  • Indian market symbols on NSE, BSE and MCX have no market data provider connected. Charts for those symbols are blank and open positions in them cannot be priced. See Mark quality.
  • Futures market data reaches VEXA on a ten-minute delay by provider tier, which is why futures marks are labelled delayed rather than live.

Neither of these is a Weekly Overview setting. They are data coverage, and they apply wherever a price is needed.

What you should see

The recap half fully populated from your own trading, and an amber card in place of the event calendar naming the market it cannot cover. Any US events relevant to you still appear if you also trade US symbols.

If it doesn’t work

  • The recap is empty too. That is not a coverage problem. You had no closed trades last week, or your account filter is excluding them.
  • You want alerts for your market. They cannot be produced from a calendar VEXA does not have. The alerts switch only covers events on the supported calendar.
  • Some of your symbols show events and others do not. The US names are covered and the rest are suppressed. Mixed portfolios see a mixed calendar.
