AI Commentary and Scenario analysis
The narration that plays alongside a trade replay, the four what-if scenarios VEXA scores afterwards, and the hindsight warning that sits above all of it.
What this does
Two AI features live inside Trade Replay. AI Commentary narrates the trade as it plays. Scenario analysis looks at the finished trade and scores what you could have done differently.
Before you start
Both are web only, because they live inside Trade Replay, which is web only.
Both are marked Beta, and both are AI output rather than measured fact. Treat them the way you would treat a second opinion from someone who saw your chart: worth hearing, not authoritative.
Scenario analysis uses hindsight. VEXA says so itself, in a warning that stays on screen the whole time you are reading it:

That line is there because a scenario score is easy to misread as a grade on your decision-making. It is not. It is a measurement of the gap between what you did and what the best possible action would have been, judged with information you did not have.
Steps
Web only
- Open the trade from Trades or from a Journal day card.
- Click Replay Trade in the header.
- AI Commentary (Beta) sits under the chart. Expand it to read along, or collapse it to hide it.
- For the scenarios, open the AI tab in the side panel and turn on Scenario Mode.
- Use the eye control to show or hide the scenario points on the chart itself.
- Click a scenario point to ask for a focused explanation of that one moment.
What the commentary gives you
Commentary is written per moment rather than as one block. As the replay reaches a point in the trade, the matching note reveals itself, along with the emotional state VEXA infers from what you did and a read on how that state changed across the trade.
You can turn it off entirely, which is worth doing if you would rather read the chart yourself before anything tells you what it thinks happened.
What the scenarios give you
Once Scenario Mode is on, VEXA produces a Hindsight Score with an AI badge on it, broken into four parts:

Under it are the contributing factors, each marked positive, negative or neutral, and weighted from critical down to low.
Key Scenarios are the specific what-ifs, of four kinds:
- Optimal Exit, where the best exit actually was
- Better Entry, where a better entry was available
- Stop Loss, what a stop would have done here
- Should Have Held, when leaving early cost you
Each one carries a confidence badge of high, medium or low, and a projection of what the trade would have returned instead.
How to use it without it being useless
The scenarios will nearly always find a better entry and a better exit, because a perfect entry and a perfect exit exist on every chart in hindsight. That is not information.
What is useful is the pattern across many trades. If Should Have Held keeps coming up with high confidence and your Exit Timing rating is consistently low, that is two independent readings of the same habit. See Rate a trade.
What you should see
The commentary panel types its text out as the replay reaches each moment. The scenario panel shows “Analyzing trade scenarios” while it works, then the score, the four-part breakdown and the scenario list.
If it doesn’t work
The panel reads Click "Scenario Mode" to enable AI analysis. Nothing has run yet. That is the
starting state, and it is deliberate: the analysis is not run until you ask for it.
“Analysis unavailable”. The analysis failed. Close and reopen the replay to try again.
Nothing happens when you enable it. The analysis reads the same candles the replay is playing. A trade with no chart data has nothing to analyse. See Why a chart is blank.
