What data VEXA sends to its AI service
A feature-by-feature list of exactly what leaves your account when VEXA uses AI, what never leaves, and what is kept afterwards.
What this does
Every AI feature in VEXA sends a specific, limited set of data to an outside AI service and gets text or speech back. What each feature sends is listed below.
The service is described in the consent dialog as “a secure, US-based third-party AI service”. The privacy policy names the provider and covers how it handles what it receives. See also Give or revoke AI consent.
Before you start
Nothing on this page happens before you agree to the consent dialog on the surface you are using.
Two things are true of every row in the table:
- Your name and email address are not part of any request. Your first name is, because the coach uses it when it speaks to you.
- Requests are made when a feature runs. Turning a feature off stops the sending.
What each feature sends
| Feature | What is sent |
|---|---|
| VEXA Chat | Your message, up to 10,000 characters. Up to 50 earlier messages from the same conversation. A context bundle built on the server: your first name, today’s trades and P&L, today’s sleep and HRV, your VEXA and CDI scores, trade detail from the last 60 days by default, rule violations and detected patterns. The page you have open and a summary of what is on it. Summaries of recent conversations and the facts VEXA has remembered about you. Similar days pulled from your own history. |
| VEXA Voice | Your microphone audio while the session is live, streamed rather than uploaded as a file. The same context bundle as chat, plus a greeting, a summary of your last session and recent session patterns. |
| Chat and voice look-ups | When the coach answers a question it fetches the specific data it needs, for example a symbol’s performance or a date range of trades. Only the result of that look-up goes into the answer. See What VEXA can look up for you. |
| Sentinel session greeting | Your first name, the first 400 characters of your most recent journal entry, your three most negative patterns, and the names of up to three Sentinel rules you have enabled. |
| Sentinel interventions | Rounded biometrics: heart rate, how far it is from your baseline, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep hours, stress level, session state and how long you have been trading. The rule that fired and its severity. Your Rules Tracker risk rules. Current market conditions. Past situations from your own history as dates and outcomes, never as raw text. No trades and no P&L. Sentinel is not given that data and its instructions forbid it from discussing it. |
| VEXA Score and CDI scores | 14 days of closed trades with P&L, hold time and symbol. Your trading metrics, sleep, HRV, resting heart rate and recovery. Your previous scores, and 14 days of Sentinel heart-rate context. |
| Dashboard and score insights | Your score history and the real numbers from your most recent completed trading day: net P&L, trade count, win rate, biggest win and biggest loss. Your Rules Tracker compliance. |
| Pattern Recognition | Your trade history, with heart-rate context where it exists. |
| Weekly Overview | The symbols you trade and watch, plus market calendar data. |
| Trade commentary and scenario analysis | One trade’s execution detail, the price candles around it, its best and worst excursion, and heart-rate context. |
| Voice session summary | The full transcript of the call, once it ends, to be summarised. |
| Building a rule by description | The plain-English rule description you typed. Nothing else. |
| AI import of a broker file | The statement or CSV file you uploaded. |
What is never sent
- Your password or any sign-in credential.
- Your broker connection credentials. None of the requests above include them.
- Your payment details. Billing runs through Stripe or your app store and is not part of any AI request.
- Your raw journal text to Sentinel interventions. Sentinel gets structured facts and dates.
What is kept afterwards
| Data | Kept |
|---|---|
| Voice audio | Not kept anywhere. It is streamed while you talk and is gone when the call ends. |
| Voice transcripts | The full text of your 50 most recent sessions. Older sessions keep their summary and topics, and the transcript text is cleared. |
| Voice summaries, topics and action items | Kept until you delete your account. |
| Chat messages | Kept until you delete them or delete your account. |
| Facts VEXA has remembered about you | Kept, with confidence that fades if nothing reinforces them. See How VEXA remembers you. |
| Raw heart-rate readings | Deleted automatically after 365 days. |
All of it is included in your data export, and all of it is deleted when you delete your account. Both controls live in your profile.
What you should see
Your data export is the check that costs you nothing. It returns your chat sessions, voice sessions with their transcripts and summaries, your remembered facts, biometrics and Sentinel history as a single JSON file. Anything described above that is in your account is in that file.
If it doesn’t work
You want a feature to stop sending data but keep the rest. Consent is one switch for all of them. Revoking blocks chat and voice in the apps and stops the background features from running.
You revoked consent and expected data to disappear. Revoking stops future sending. It deletes nothing. See Give or revoke AI consent.
You are asking for the provider’s name for a compliance review. It is named in the privacy policy, which is the document to cite.
