Meet VEXA, your AI coach

What the coach reads before it answers, how it talks about your trading, and the things it will never do.

Same on every platform Updated

What this does

VEXA is a trading psychology coach you talk to by typing or out loud. Before it answers it reads your own trading data, so “where am I losing discipline” gets an answer about your trades instead of a general one.

The same coach sits behind VEXA Chat and VEXA Voice. Same data, same memory of earlier conversations, two ways in.

What it reads before it answers

  • Your closed trades, P&L and hold times over the period you ask about
  • Your journal entries, trade notes and tags
  • Your VEXA Score, and the Confidence, Discipline and Intuition scores behind it
  • Your Rules Tracker rules and any violations
  • Whatever Pattern Recognition has found in your history
  • Heart rate and sleep from Sentinel, on days you ran a session

It also sees the page you have open, so on the Metrics page it can talk about the numbers in front of you without you pasting them in.

It does not fill gaps with plausible numbers. The rule it works under is to call up the real figure or say it does not have one. If it tells you it has no data for a period, that is the answer rather than a failure.

How it talks

Acknowledgement first, then the number, then one thing to do about it. It is written to tie a figure to a behaviour rather than read statistics at you, and it reads the mood: a message sent after a bad day gets a different reply from the same question asked on a flat Tuesday.

The coaching draws on published work in trading and performance psychology, so some of what it says will sound familiar if you have read Mark Douglas or Brett Steenbarger.

What it will not do

  • It does not give financial advice. It will not tell you what to buy, sell or hold, and nothing it says is a recommendation.
  • It does not promise profits. Its instructions rule out guaranteed-return language, and it is told to mention risk when it talks about sizing.
  • It cannot trade. VEXA reads from your broker and never places, cancels or blocks an order. A Sentinel rule set to Block Trades sends you a message, and that is all it does.
  • It will not name the AI service it runs on. Ask and it changes the subject, deliberately. See Why the coach won’t say which AI it uses.
  • It will not overwrite what you wrote. Edits to a journal entry or a trade summary go below a --- Vexa Analysis --- line. See Ask VEXA to change something.

Before you start

On iPhone, iPad, Android and Android tablet, both chat and voice are blocked until you agree to the AI consent dialog. On web, voice is blocked until you agree and text chat is not. See Give or revoke AI consent.

Chat is metered against your plan’s monthly message allowance. On web the full chat page also needs Edge or Pro, so a free account gets a locked screen offering a trial rather than the composer.

What you should see

An opening line from VEXA, then four suggested questions you can tap instead of typing:

  • Review my last trading session
  • What patterns do you see in my trades?
  • Where am I losing discipline?
  • What’s my biggest area for improvement?

Ask one and the reply names your own numbers. A reply that talks about trading in general, with no figures in it, usually means VEXA has no trades to read yet.

If it doesn’t work

Every answer says it has no data. No trades have been imported for the period you are asking about. Import a broker file or connect a broker first.

It answers something adjacent to what you asked. Ask again with a period in it, for example “last week” or “June”, rather than “recently”.

Answers stop part way through a session. You have run out of monthly messages. See Voice and chat limits.
