Voice summaries

Read back what a voice session covered, find the topics and action items, and know why the list only goes back a week.

What this does

After a voice session ends, VEXA writes it up: what you talked about, the topics that came up, and anything you said you would do. Summaries is where you read those back.

Before you start

The list shows the last 7 days. Sessions older than that stop appearing in the panel. They are not gone, and they are in your data export, but the screen is a week’s worth.

The summary is written after you hang up, so a session that ended a moment ago may take a little while to appear.

Android tablet is missing this. Its Summaries button raises a message saying the feature is coming soon and opens nothing. Use your phone or the web.

Steps

  1. Click VEXA Voice in the sidebar.
  2. Click Summaries at the top of the page.
  3. Click a session to read it.
  1. Tap the third tab in the bar at the bottom, the voice mark.
  2. Tap Summaries.
  3. Tap a session to read it.

What you should see

Sessions newest first, grouped by day under headings like Today and Yesterday. Each one carries the time you started, how long you spoke, a written summary and the topics it touched.

Action items are shown in full on the web. Android shows a count of them, and iPhone and iPad do not show them at all, so the web is the place to go if you set yourself something to do.

With nothing in the window you get “No voice sessions in the last 7 days” rather than an empty screen.

A session where you connected but said nothing still gets a row, reading “Voice session completed” with a single topic of “Voice interaction”. That is what an unused session looks like, not a failure.

The transcript against the summary

The summary is VEXA’s write-up. The transcript is the words. Transcripts are kept in full for your 50 most recent sessions, and older ones keep their summary and topics after the transcript text is cleared.

Both are in your data export. See What data VEXA sends to its AI service.

If it doesn’t work

The list fails to load. Web says “We couldn’t load your voice summaries. Please try again.” with a Try Again button. The apps say the load failed in a shorter form. Retry, and reload the page or reopen the screen if it persists.

Your session is not listed. Give it a minute. The write-up happens after the call ends.

A summary exists but the transcript is empty. A small number of sessions save with no turns recorded. The text cannot be recovered. If it happens more than once, report the date and time.

You want a session from last month. Export your data from your profile. The panel is a 7-day window, the export is everything.
