Leaderboard periods, scopes and metrics
How the four periods, three scopes and six metrics combine, why Last 365 Days is not a calendar year, and why the day boundary is UTC.
What this does
A leaderboard is one period, one scope, one metric and one community filter. Change any of the four and you are looking at a different ranking, which is usually the answer when your position moves without your trading changing.
Before you start
Communities and leaderboards are part of Edge and Pro on every platform. A free account gets the paywall instead of the screen, on the web, on iPhone, on iPad and on both Android surfaces.
You appear on a leaderboard only if you share at least one metric. See Choose what you share on the leaderboard.
The four periods

Last 365 Days is not a calendar year. It is a window that moves with you, so a trade from 366 days ago drops out overnight without anything else changing. Nothing on the leaderboard resets on 1 January.
Boundaries are UTC
Every period boundary is UTC, not your local time and not your market’s time. The web app prints the resolved date range next to the period pills so you can check which window you are actually in.
This bites hardest on Today. If you trade in Asia, the UTC day rolls over in the middle of your session. If you trade the US session, part of your trading day falls into the next UTC day. In both cases a “Today” ranking that looks incomplete is usually a boundary effect rather than missing data.
Your trades themselves are unaffected. This is only how the leaderboard cuts the window.
The three scopes

Country and Region are greyed out until your account has a location. See Set your location.
The six metrics
VEXA Score, Confidence, Discipline, Intuition, Daily P&L and Win Rate. Each is a separate ranking, so being top on Discipline says nothing about where you sit on Daily P&L.
You are ranked on a metric only if you share it.
The community filter
All Communities ranks you against everyone in scope. Choose a community you have joined and the same period, scope and metric are recalculated against its members only.
With no communities joined, the filter reads “No communities joined” and offers a link to browse. See Explore public communities.
Steps
- Choose Communities in the sidebar. The page opens on the Leaderboards tab.
- Pick a community, or leave it on All Communities.
- Choose Country, Region or Global.
- Choose Today, Weekly, Monthly or Last 365 Days. The resolved UTC range appears beside the pills.
- Choose a metric from the metric dropdown.
- Use the refresh icon if the numbers look stale.
- On Home, tap the Communities & Leaderboards card.
- Tap the Leaderboards tab.
- Pick a community, or leave it on All Communities.
- Choose Country, Region or Global.
- Choose Today, Weekly, Monthly or Last 365 Days.
- Choose a metric.
- Choose Communities in the sidebar.
- Set the community filter, the scope and the period.
- Choose a metric.
- Tap a row to open that trader’s profile in the detail pane.
- On Home, tap the Communities & Leaderboards card.
- Tap the Leaderboards tab.
- Pick a community, or leave it on All Communities.
- Choose Country, Region or Global.
- Choose Today, Weekly, Monthly or Last 365 Days.
- Choose a metric.
- Tap any row to open that trader’s stats sheet.
- Choose Communities in the sidebar.
- Set the community filter, the scope and the period.
- Choose a metric. The filters match the phone.
What you should see
If you are ranked, a Your Rank badge sits above the table: a position number and a line reading how many traders you are being ranked against, in the community, country or the world. The period and metric you picked are shown alongside it so the number is never ambiguous.
If you are not ranked, the table still lists everyone else. Your absence is not an error state.
If it doesn’t work
- “No rankings are available for this selection”. That combination has no ranked traders. Widen the period or change the metric before assuming something is broken.
- You filtered to a community and got buttons instead of a table. You have joined none yet, so the leaderboard offers to send you to explore or join by code.
- Your position changed overnight without you trading. A rolling period dropped an old day, or the UTC boundary moved past your session.
- A trader’s row shows no numbers. They share nothing, or nothing for that metric.
