Explore public communities

Browse VEXA's public communities by trading style, asset class and region, and understand what a Leaderboard Only community gives you.

What this does

Public communities are open to join without an invite code. Browsing them is the fastest way onto a leaderboard that is smaller than the global one.

They are grouped three ways:

GroupWhat it collects
Trading styleTraders who share your approach
Asset classTraders in the markets you trade
RegionTraders from your part of the world

Before you start

Communities and leaderboards are part of Edge and Pro on every platform. A free account gets the paywall instead of the screen, on the web, on iPhone, on iPad and on both Android surfaces.

Set a location first if you want the regional suggestions to be any good. See Set your location.

Steps

  1. Choose Communities in the sidebar, then open the Communities tab.
  2. Open the community browser. The page is headed “Explore Communities”.
  3. Scroll the trading style, asset class and region sections.
  4. Choose Join on a card.
  1. On Home, tap the Communities & Leaderboards card.
  2. Tap the Communities tab.
  3. Tap Explore Communities.
  4. Scroll the sections and tap Join on a card.

  2. Tap the Communities tab.
  3. Tap Explore Communities.
  4. Scroll the sections and tap Join on a card. Region cards use continent outlines rather than flags.

Leaderboard Only communities

Some cards are marked Leaderboard Only. Joining one puts you in its rankings and nothing else. There is no member roster to open and nothing to browse inside it, so the only place it shows up afterwards is the leaderboard’s community filter.

This is not a reduced version of a normal community. It is what the community is for.

Suggested for you

If your account has a location that matches a regional community, a suggestion appears at the top of the browser naming it. Joining from there is the same as joining from a card.

What you should see

Each card shows the community name and its current member count. Tapping Join turns the button into a Joined badge, and on the web a short confirmation appears at the bottom of the screen naming the community.

The community then appears in your own list and in the leaderboard’s community filter.

If it doesn’t work

  • “Loading communities…” does not finish. A network problem. Retry from the error state.
  • Join fails with an error. The community is likely full. Free communities cap at 100 members.
  • You joined a Leaderboard Only community and cannot open it. There is nothing to open. Filter the leaderboard to it instead. See Leaderboard periods, scopes and metrics.
  • Nothing here fits how you trade. Create your own and share the code. See Join or create a community.
