Supported devices, browsers and operating systems

What this does

Lists what VEXA runs on and the limits that come with each device, so you find out before you install rather than at the point you need something.

The web app

VEXA runs at app.vexatrade.ai in a desktop browser. It is built desktop first and it is genuinely responsive, so a phone browser works, with the limits below.

• The layout changes below 1024 pixels wide. The sidebar becomes a drawer behind a menu button at the top of the screen, and the wider tables drop columns as the window narrows. Nothing is removed, and less of it is on screen at once.
• There is no light theme and no theme switch. The web app is dark only.
• MetaTrader auto-sync cannot be set up in a phone browser. The page detects a phone and offers a QR code to open the same page on a desktop instead.
• Sentinel’s screen capture is desktop browser only. Mobile browsers do not have the screen sharing API it needs. Sentinel on a phone browser is read only.
• VEXA Voice needs microphone permission. Safari on iOS only grants it in response to a tap, which the tap-the-orb interaction satisfies.

There is no browser version list to publish here. Use a current version of a mainstream browser and keep it updated.

iPhone

Get it from the App Store. Search for VEXA AI - Trading Coach.

• iPhone is portrait locked. It does not rotate, and that is deliberate.
• Dark only. No light theme, no theme switch.
• The app asks for HealthKit, Bluetooth, microphone, speech recognition, photo library and notification permissions as you reach the features that need them. VEXA reads from Health and never writes to it.
• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets are included. See Add VEXA widgets to your home screen.
• There are no Siri shortcuts, no Live Activities and no Control Center controls.

The App Store product page carries the current minimum iOS version. It is the authority, because it changes with each release.

iPad

The same App Store app, running a separate iPad layout with a sidebar rather than a tab bar.

• iPad rotates. All orientations are supported, along with Split View and Stage Manager.
• Keyboard shortcuts work, and nothing in the interface advertises them.
• iPad cannot start a Sentinel session. It is a read-only companion for Sentinel, because the heart rate comes from a phone.
• iPad reads Apple Health but cannot measure anything. It can show the sleep and resting heart rate your iPhone or watch recorded, and it asks for Health access like an iPhone does. It has no sensor of its own, which is why a live session belongs on the phone.
• An Extra Large widget size exists here that iPhone does not have.

Apple Watch

A companion app whose only job is streaming heart rate to the iPhone during a Sentinel session. It is paired to your iPhone and does not work on its own.

• Complications are available in circular, corner, inline and rectangular shapes.
• Starting a session on any device starts the watch monitoring, and stopping anywhere stops it.
• A session runs as a mind and body workout, which is what keeps the heart sensor sampling often enough. Your Apple Activity rings may gain Exercise minutes during a session. VEXA discards the workout and does not write it into Health.

Android phone

Get it from Google Play. The package is ai.vexa.app.

• Android 8.0 is the minimum. Below that the app will not install.
• The bottom navigation bar has five unlabelled icons.
• Health Connect needs Android 13 or later with Health Connect installed from the Play Store, or Android 14 or later where it is built in. Without it, sleep and heart rate cannot reach VEXA from this phone.
• Home screen widgets are included, and on a launcher that allows it VEXA can place one for you.

Android tablet

The same Play Store app. It switches to the tablet layout automatically on a screen the system reports as large, which is roughly seven inches and up. There is no setting to choose between the two layouts.

• Keyboard shortcuts work here as well, and again nothing advertises them.
• Every row in the tablet’s Settings section opens, including Privacy, which is where data export lives. Two panes are still incomplete, Health Connect and Risk Management, and both are covered in What works on each device.
• Sentinel is read only here, as it is on iPad.

Wear OS watch

A companion app for Wear OS 3 and later, installed alongside the phone app.

• It shows your heart rate, your session state and a session timer, with a start and stop control.
• A tile is available for the watch’s tile carousel.
• It asks for body sensor permission the first time you open it.
• A Sentinel session behaves like a workout on the watch. Expect battery drain, and expect the watch’s own fitness tracking to record activity.

What you should see

Signing in on any of these lands you in the same account with the same trades and the same subscription. Nothing is device specific except your metrics widget order, your chart order, and whether you have already seen the guided walkthrough.

If it doesn’t work

The app will not install from the store. The device is below the minimum version for that platform. The store page says so at the point of install.

Your Android tablet is showing the phone layout, or the other way round. The layout follows the size the system reports for the screen, and there is no override. A split screen window can be small enough to be treated as a phone.

Health data is not appearing. It can only be captured on an iPhone or an Android phone. iPad, Android tablet and the web app can display it and never collect it.
