How VEXA uses AI with your data
The consent you are asked for, exactly what each AI feature sends for processing, and how to withdraw that consent on any device.
What this does
VEXA’s coaching features send some of your data to a third-party AI service for processing. VEXA asks for your permission before that happens, tells you what is sent, and lets you withdraw the permission later.
The VEXA Privacy Policy describes that service in section 5 and lists VEXA’s service providers in section 6.
Before you start
- Granting consent is not a plan upgrade. Which AI features you can use still depends on your plan.
- Withdrawing consent stops future processing. It does not delete anything already stored. See Delete your VEXA account if deletion is what you want.
- On Android tablet there is no AI Services row. Consent is asked and withdrawn through the dialog that appears in VEXA Chat and VEXA Voice.
The consent text, word for word
This is the dialog you see. It is reproduced here unchanged.
The buttons are Cancel and I Understand and Agree.
When you withdraw it, the dialog reads:
The button is Revoke Consent.
What each feature sends
| Feature | What is sent for processing |
|---|---|
| VEXA Chat | Your message, up to 50 messages of that conversation, and a context bundle: your first name, today’s trades and P&L, today’s sleep and HRV figures, your CDI and VEXA scores, recent trade detail, rule violations, detected patterns, the page you are viewing and its visible data, plus stored conversation summaries |
| VEXA Voice | Your microphone audio while the session is live, the same context bundle formatted for speech, a greeting, and your last session summary |
| Voice session summary | The transcript of the call you just finished, so it can be summarised |
| Sentinel session intro | Your first name, a short extract of your most recent journal entry, your top three negative patterns, and the names of up to three enabled Sentinel rules |
| Sentinel intervention | Rounded heart rate, deviation from your baseline, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep hours, stress level, session state and duration, the rule that fired, your active risk rules, and current market conditions |
| VEXA and CDI scores | Fourteen days of closed trades, trading metrics, health metrics, your prior scores and recent heart-rate context |
| Dashboard and CDI insights | Your score history and the real numbers from your most recent completed trading day |
| Pattern Recognition | Your trade history with heart-rate context |
| Weekly Overview | The symbols you trade and market calendar data |
| Trade commentary and scenarios | One trade’s execution detail, the price candles around it, and heart-rate context |
| Rule builder | The plain-English rule description you typed |
| File import with AI parsing | The broker statement you upload |
Sentinel interventions are deliberately trade-blind. The instructions sent with them forbid any reference to your trades, your P&L or how often you trade, because Sentinel does not receive that data. See What Sentinel reads about you.
Where you are asked
On iPhone, iPad and Android, VEXA asks before chat or voice will run at all. On the web, the dialog appears the first time you connect a voice session, including the microphone toggle inside the chat widget and voice started from a journal day.
Steps
To grant or withdraw consent:
- In the sidebar, select View Profile under your name.
- Scroll to the Settings card.
- Select AI Services.
- Choose to grant or revoke in the dialog that opens.
- On Home, tap the avatar at the top right.
- Scroll to Settings.
- Tap AI Services.
- Choose to grant or revoke in the dialog that opens.
- In the sidebar, tap the profile chip at the bottom, then View Profile.
- Scroll to Settings.
- Tap AI Services.
- Choose to grant or revoke in the dialog that opens.
- On Home, tap the avatar at the top right.
- Scroll to Settings.
- Tap AI Services.
- Choose to grant or revoke in the dialog that opens.
- Open VEXA Chat or VEXA Voice from the sidebar. There is no AI Services row in Profile on this surface.
- Use the consent dialog that appears.
- To withdraw consent instead, use AI Services in Profile on your phone, tablet or the web. The change applies to your account everywhere.
What you should see
Under AI Services, the row reads Granted on and a date once consent is in place, and Not granted once it is withdrawn. On the web a toast confirms: “AI services consent granted” or “AI services consent revoked”.
After withdrawing, chat and voice stop and ask for consent again the next time you open them.
If it doesn’t work
- You revoked on one device and another still works. The web updates every open tab immediately. A mobile app picks up the change when it next reloads your consent, which happens on launch and on sign-in.
- The dialog keeps reappearing. Consent is stored on your account, not on the device. If it is not sticking, sign out and back in on that device.
- “Failed to process consent. Please try again.” The write did not reach the server. Check your connection and try again.
