Export your VEXA data
Export My Data produces a single JSON file of your account. Here is what is in it, what is deliberately left out, and how you get the file on each surface.
What this does
Export My Data builds one JSON file containing your profile and your records, and hands it straight to you. It exists to satisfy your right to a portable copy of your data under GDPR Article 20, and it is available to every user on every plan.
Exporting changes nothing. Nothing is deleted, moved or disconnected.
Before you start
- The export is built on demand and delivered as soon as it is ready. Nothing is kept for you to come back to later, so run it again whenever you want a fresh copy.
- The file is JSON, not a spreadsheet. Any text editor will open it.
- Large accounts take a while to build. The button shows a progress label while it works.
- On the web the file lands in your browser’s downloads. On iPhone, iPad, Android and Android tablet the app fetches it and opens a share sheet so you can save or send it.
What the export contains
- Your profile, preferences and display settings
- Trades, positions, open positions and trade analysis
- Score history and insights
- Weekly overviews, pattern recognition results, playbooks and tags
- Sentinel sessions, interventions, rules and configuration
- Health metrics, your biometric baseline and its history
- Voice sessions, with the transcripts still under the retention limit
- Reminders and reminder history
- Broker account records and upload history
- Up to 100 chat conversations, with up to 500 messages in each
What the export leaves out
Broker credentials are stripped. API keys, secrets, tokens and private keys are removed from the export before it is written. The export file is something you might email to yourself or drop in cloud storage, and a leaked credential there would be a real problem.
Some stored data is not in the export. The export covers the categories above. It does not currently include everything the account holds, notably:
- Your journal entries
- The raw heart-rate readings behind your biometric summaries
- The long-term facts the coach has extracted about you
- Your Rules Tracker rules and their per-day grades
- Notification history
- The vector embeddings used to retrieve your past sessions
- Cached insights and summaries
All of those are removed when you delete your account. If you need a copy of something in that list, ask support@vexatrade.ai.

What you should see
A file named vexa-data-export.json. Opened in a text editor, it starts with a profile object and then a named list for each category above, ending with exportedAt and userId. If your account is new and mostly empty, most lists will be empty. That is correct.
If it doesn’t work
- The transfer broke before you got the file. Nothing is left waiting for you to pick up. Run the export again.
- The button spins and nothing happens. Large accounts take time. Leave the screen open. Every surface allows five minutes for the export to build before it gives up.
- You cannot find the button on Android tablet. It is not on the Profile page itself. Tap the Privacy row in the Settings card, which opens Settings on the Privacy page, and look under Data Export.
