In Binance, open API Management and create a system-generated API key. Set its permissions to enable reading, and leave trading, withdrawals and futures trading switched off.

Copy the key and the secret when they appear, because the secret is shown once. If you restrict the key by IP, allow the two addresses shown on VEXA's connection screen.

Paste both into VEXA and save. It then pulls once a day at 02:00 UTC, reaching 180 days.

For older history, use Binance's Data Download Center: choose Asset Transaction History, set the data type to Spot, Futures, Options or Margin, set the report type to Trade History, generate the CSV and upload it. Repeat for each product you trade.

180 days. Anything older has to come from a Data Download Center file, which is why most people set up the sync and upload one file for the backfill.
Spot, futures and margin export separately from Binance. Upload one and the others are simply absent, with no warning. It is the crypto version of the per-segment problem, and the fix is to export each product type you trade and upload them all.
Yes. Fees are read from the file, so your profit figures are net rather than gross.
Because it is one. A spot position you have held and never sold does not close inside the export window, so VEXA shows it in your portfolio as open. That is correct rather than a parsing error.
