Bybit Trading Journal

Bybit syncs hourly with VEXA using a read-only API key, covering spot, derivatives and options. File exports reach two years for the backfill.

How VEXA imports your Bybit trades

  1. In Bybit, open API Management, choose Create New Key and pick the API transaction type. Set the permissions to read only.

  2. Copy the key and secret immediately, because the secret is shown once, then paste both into VEXA and save.

  3. VEXA pulls every hour from then on, reaching 180 days.

  4. For older history, export from Orders, then Order History, choosing Spot, Derivatives or Options. They export separately, so download each product you trade, up to two years, and upload them all.

After the import

What VEXA does with your Bybit trades

Importing is the boring half. Once your fills are in, VEXA rebuilds each round trip, scores how you traded it, and keeps a record you can actually argue with.

The journal writes itself

Every fill becomes a trade with the entry, exit, size, fees and net result already filled in. Daily, weekly and monthly journals are built from that, so your review starts with reading rather than typing.

A CDI score, updated daily

VEXA grades Confidence, Discipline and Intuition from how you actually traded, not just what you made. It is a patent-pending framework (US App #64/030,397) and the score moves with your activity each day.

Your rules, graded every trading day

Set the limits you want to hold yourself to, like a daily loss cap or a maximum position size, and VEXA marks each day against them so a broken rule is a fact rather than a feeling.

Playbooks that show what works

Tag your setups and VEXA tracks each one across enough trades to say something meaningful about it, instead of leaving you to judge an edge from the last three results.

Patterns you would not catch by eye

VEXA reads your history for repeated behaviour: the hour you tend to give profit back, the size you jump to after a loss, the setup you keep taking when conditions do not suit it.

A coach you can talk to

Ask about a single trade, a bad week, or your last drawdown, by chat or out loud by voice. The answers come from your own imported trades rather than generic advice.

VEXA is an educational tool for reviewing your own trading. It does not provide financial advice, and it never places orders or moves money in your broker account.

Every hour, covering spot, linear and inverse derivatives, and options.

Account read and orders read are required, and positions read is useful. Do not enable trading or withdrawal on a key you give to a journal.

You probably exported the wrong product. Bybit splits spot, derivatives and options into three separate downloads, so a derivatives trader who exports only spot gets almost nothing and no error to explain why. Export each product type you trade.

Yes, fees are read from the file, so your profit figures are net.

Bybit timestamps are UTC and VEXA displays them that way unless you set a display timezone.

Trade somewhere else too?

VEXA connects to every broker in the directory, and each one keeps its own account inside a single journal.
