-
Sign in at web.dhan.co, click the Profile icon (top right) and select Journal by Dhan.
-
Click Past Trades, choose a custom date range (From – To) covering the period you want, and download as CSV — the file is named TRADE_HISTORY_CSV_…csv.
-
In VEXA, choose Dhan → Manual upload and upload the file unchanged. Times are IST, so there is no timezone to set.
-
Company names in the file are mapped to their NSE/BSE tickers. Re-uploading an overlapping range is safe because duplicate fills are skipped.

What VEXA does with your Dhan trades
Importing is the boring half. Once your fills are in, VEXA rebuilds each round trip, scores how you traded it, and keeps a record you can actually argue with.
The journal writes itself
Every fill becomes a trade with the entry, exit, size, fees and net result already filled in. Daily, weekly and monthly journals are built from that, so your review starts with reading rather than typing.
A CDI score, updated daily
VEXA grades Confidence, Discipline and Intuition from how you actually traded, not just what you made. It is a patent-pending framework (US App #64/030,397) and the score moves with your activity each day.
Your rules, graded every trading day
Set the limits you want to hold yourself to, like a daily loss cap or a maximum position size, and VEXA marks each day against them so a broken rule is a fact rather than a feeling.
Playbooks that show what works
Tag your setups and VEXA tracks each one across enough trades to say something meaningful about it, instead of leaving you to judge an edge from the last three results.
Patterns you would not catch by eye
VEXA reads your history for repeated behaviour: the hour you tend to give profit back, the size you jump to after a loss, the setup you keep taking when conditions do not suit it.
A coach you can talk to
Ask about a single trade, a bad week, or your last drawdown, by chat or out loud by voice. The answers come from your own imported trades rather than generic advice.
VEXA is an educational tool for reviewing your own trading. It does not provide financial advice, and it never places orders or moves money in your broker account.
Dhan questions, answered
The things people ask before connecting Dhan. If yours is not here, the help centre goes deeper, and you can always ask us directly.
Not yet. VEXA imports the Trade History CSV from Journal by Dhan. Export a fresh file whenever you want to update your journal; overlapping ranges are safe.
The Trade History export carries no brokerage, STT or GST columns, so VEXA cannot know your charges. Imported P&L is before charges, and the cost is marked unknown rather than pretending it was zero.
No. VEXA maps Dhan's company names (Tech Mahindra, HDFC Bank) to their exchange tickers (TECHM, HDFCBANK) using Dhan's own instrument master, so fills group correctly and charts resolve.
No. A DELIVERY sell with no matching buy in the file is treated as the settlement of stock bought earlier, not as a short position.
Dhan's contract names (SENSEX 24 SEP 68000 CALL, TIINDIA NOV FUT) are recognised and the quantity is cross-checked against the trade value to detect lot sizes, but no real F&O export has been verified yet. Send us a sample if yours imports wrong.
